ColorSwatch — Privacy Policy

ColorSwatch groups separate color products and shows color swatches on the storefront. This policy explains what data the app accesses.

Data we process

ColorSwatch does not collect, store, or process customer personal data. The app reads and writes product and metaobject/metafield data (color group membership, swatch color, swatch image, label) — none of which is personal information. Grouping and swatch data live in Shopify metafields; the app keeps only the Shopify session and app settings in its own database.

Access scopes

We request the minimum scopes needed: read/write products, metaobjects, and read access to product images. We do not request access to customers, orders, or store-owner personal data.

GDPR / data requests

ColorSwatch implements Shopify’s mandatory compliance webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact,shop/redact). Because no customer personal data is stored, data-request and customer-redact requests return nothing to disclose or erase; shop/redact removes the shop’s session data on uninstall.

Data sharing

We do not sell or share any data with third parties.
